Tom O’Mahony’s Buckshot podcast at The Grand Auld Stretch

Comedian to record 200th episode of his popular podcast at the Grand Auld Stretch event on Nimmo’s Pier

GALWAY HAS a chance to make Irish podcasting and comedic history by being part of the 200th episode of Tom ‘Bear’ O’Mahony’s Buckshot podcast, which will be recorded in the city this week

Tom will be recording the podcast at the tent on Nimmo’s Pier as part of The Grand Auld Stretch series of concerts, presented by the Róisín Dubh.

It takes place this Sunday, August 22, at 7pm where Tom will be joined by Colin Geddis, a powerhouse of the Northern Irish comedy scene, and Gordon Rochford of Those Conspiracy Guys. Expect comedy, conspiracy, and audience interaction.

Tom O’Mahony’s Buckshot has hosted guests like MTV's Tom Green, Pat Shortt, Phil Jupitus, Samantha Mumba flat-earthers, and everyone in between. Those Conspiracy Guys is a comedy, history, and true crime podcast dealing with out-there conspiracy theories like aliens, time travel, and ancient civilisations to the more grounded and provable conspiracies like political and financial corruption, and scientific chicanery.

Colin Geddis is the creator and writer of Gedzilla films, the online sketch and stand up comedy channel which has reached almost 10,000,000 YouTube hits. He is also the creator of the hugely successful audio/video podcast Audio Picnic, which has received thousands of plays and downloads on iTunes since 2010, and now produces his own podcast, The General Banter Podcast, which has more than 500,000 downloads.

The shows will follow Covid19 guidelines. The event is seated. Tickets are available via https://roisindubh.net and will be sold in pods of four and six.
