Hartmanns of Galway, one of the west of Ireland’s premier jewellers may have the doors shut, but the online store is open for business with a huger selection of diamond engagement rings for those who want to pop the question this St Valentine's Day.

Owner Richard Hartmann says: “Of course we are fully aware that this year is very difficult for people to plan their Valentine's day engagements. Sadly we can’t welcome customers in store to have the full engagement ring experience, but we are happy for anyone who purchases a ring online during the lockdown to do so safe in the knowledge that when the store does reopen we will be available and happy to take appointments to come in with the purchased ring and look through the full collection with an option to exchange at no cost.

“During the last lockdown we were able to meet customers by appointment but this time round we can only do purchases online or over the phone. Anyone who does take the decision to buy online or over the phone will be welcome to change or exchange when we reopen.”

Hartmanns last year opened its new private engagement ring suite and has the biggest selection of diamond engagement rings in the west.

Amazing beautiful rings in all shapes and sizes to suit all budgets are available. “We have diamond engagement rings in platinum and 18ct gold from under €1,000 so everyone should feel welcome to browse our selection no matter the budget”, Richard Hartmann adds.

When Hartmanns reopens the private viewing suite is definitely worth a visit for anyone looking to make that special purchase. The team at Hartmanns are happy to welcome anyone interested in engagement rings.

Whether buying or browsing customers enjoy a complimentary glass of champagne and what can be more fun that an hour or two trying on diamonds?
