THE FIRST in a series of exhibitions under the Government’s art and culture ‘Getting Through Covid-19 Together’ campaign opens in the Eyre Square Shopping Centre from today, Thursday October 15.
Photographs, art, poetry and stories will be displayed and showcased around Galway city as part of the campaign, with the first being a photo exhibition by Dr Chaosheng Zhang.
Since 2017, Dr Zhang has been taking photos of the city and around the NUI Galway campus. His photos have been used in various publications at the university and by business groups, and are also widely shared on social media.
