AUTUMN IS a good time to try something new, or something you have long had a desire to get involved in. Those thinking about taking up painting should check out a new series of classes at the GTI.
The artist Anne O'Byrne is hosting a series of art classes in the GTI, Father Griffin Road, catering for complete beginners and experienced painters looking to learn new ways of working.
Ms O’Byrne has been teaching painting in GTI for the past decade. Her own practice incorporates paint, print, video, and installation. She has exhibited nationally and internationally for 20 years. Classes take place on Tuesdays and Wednesdays from 7pm to 9.30pm, starting September 25 and running for eight weeks. The cost is €120.
