Climb Diamond Hill for Self Help Africa

Everyone is invited to take part in a fundraising climb of Diamond Hill in aid of Self Help Africa on Sunday April 7.

The climb will begin at 11am at Connemara Nature Park and all are welcome – it is a great family day out, as the climb is not too difficult. Climbers will meet at the car park at Diamond Hill for 10.45am. Water and fruit will be provided.

All funds raised will go to supporting the work of Self Help Africa in supporting farming families in sub-Saharan Africa. The charity works with communities in 10 African countries, providing families with the ability to produce more food, earn more from their farming activities, and helping mothers and fathers to provide a better life for their children.

To sign up and get a sponsorship card, contact Ronan Scully at the Self Help Africa office on 087 6189094, email [email protected]; or event organiser Kathleen Naughton on 087 6708844, email [email protected].

You can also set up a Facebook fundraiser so your friends can support your efforts – simply visit the Self Help Africa Facebook page and click on ‘Create Fundraiser’ below the profile video to get started.
