TOM MURPHY'S Conversations On A Homecoming, will be staged by Oranmore drama group Bualadh Bos, on Thursday April 4, Friday 5, and Saturday 6 in Kudos, Keane’s nightclub, and at the Mall Theatre, Tuam, on Friday April 12.

In 1974, Michael Ridge returns from New York after 10 years away. He is anxious to re-connect with his friends and his mentor, JJ Kilkelly whose resemblance to JFK led to him founding the White House Bar in 1962. Back then, the pub was a cultural cradle inspired by the US president, JJ held court promoting big ideas which were at odds with the church and conservatives townsfolk. Michael returns in need of hope and refuge. Can he find it among his friends? Is JJ still the charismatic personality he remembers?

Tickets are available from Eventbrite in advance, and on the door in both venues.
