Enjoy an evening of your favourite takeaways without the guilt. Check out these delicious fakeaway meals using healthy, nutritious, ingredients available at your local Joyce’s Supermarket.

Bursting with flavours and spices, this recipe is a healthy and quick alternative to the much-loved spice bag, and it could not be any simpler to make. To create this dish all you need is one red chilli, one red pepper, one onion, one chicken breast, and McDonnell’s spice bag seasoning mix. Cut the chicken breast into small thick slices. Create a batter to coat the chicken pieces in by mixing one egg, ¾ spice bag seasoning mix, and 4 tbsp flour. Cook the chicken strips for 35 minutes at 180 degrees. Chop up the pepper, onion, and chilli, and sauté on a pan until soft. Add to a bowl and mix with the chicken strips and remaining McDonnell’s spice bag seasoning. Et voila!
