Group bodhrán classes

Wed, Jan 08, 2025

Everybody has rhythm, and there is no better time than now to take up a new challenge and learn a new instrument. If you have always wanted to play music but don’t know where to start, or you are already playing but don’t know how to take your playing to the next level, now is the time. The hugely popular Bodhrán Magic adult group beginner courses are registering now and starting very soon in the city centre at a school venue with very easy and free parking. Simply park at the door and go in and play.

The bodhrán is a brilliant instrument to play; it is very accessible for all ages and has become extremely popular for very good reason. Run by professional Galway musician and educator Brian Ferguson, the courses provide proper tuition and a brilliant step by step learning system that keeps students motivated and inspired, and is enjoyable as you progress and learn to play along to tunes with confidence and clarity. Recent research has shown that playing drums weekly has a massive positive effect on mental health, and learning music is proven to be a lovely energising challenge in life. An enjoyable class like this is something to look forward to every week.
