COMEDIAN TIM FitzHigham will perform his hit Edinburgh Fringe show Gentleman Adventurer in the Bailey Allen Hall, NUI, Galway on Tuesday at 9.30pm.

FitzHigham is like an amalgamation of Monty Python and represents a lost idea of the classic British eccentric. He has conquered rivers in boats made of paper, rowed to France in a bathtub, run across deserts in suits of armour, and nearly died taking inflatable rubber things down Olympic ski slopes. In Gentleman Adventurer he will regale audiences with tales of his latest feats of endurance.

AN CRISIS, the new comedy series on TG4, has been nominated for a number of awards at the Monte Carlo Television Festival 2010.

The series is broadcast on TG4 on Wednesdays at 10.30pm with a repeat on Saturdays at 8.45pm. It chronicles the strange world of An Chomhairle Teanga, an Irish language organisation, its director Setanta De Paor (Risteárd Cooper) who has to grapple with Government cutbacks, media scrutiny, questionable projects, a new Minister, and a series of oddball colleagues.
