TWO OF the best and most popular Irish comedians - Barry Murphy and Andrew Maxwell - play the Róisín Dubh this Wednesday at 8.30pm.
Barry, best known for being one-third of the sports/media satirical team Après Match, will be the MC for the evening, while Andrew Maxwell will headline. Andrew’s confidence in articulating socio-political issues or taboo subjects, with both intelligence and boyish charm makes for a highly appealing and hilarious experience.

DRAGON’S DEN sensation Santa Ponsa Or Bust comes to the Town Hall Theatre next week on Friday August 5 and Saturday 6 featuring the two funniest men in Cork: Frank Twomey and Pakie O’Callaghan.
The show is written and performed by O’Callaghan and Twomey, who have been writing and performing together regularly since 1998, when they both were involved in RTÉ’s Bull Island.
