Now in its second year, the event recognised standout performers across a wide range of categories from 'Salon of the Year' to 'Outstanding Achievement' and 'Excellence Awards'. With hundreds of nominations received nationwide, competition was extremely high, making the inclusion of a number of Galway-based businesses amongst the winners and recognised businesses even more impressive.
The Irish Nation’s Hair and Beauty Awards 2025 once again shone a spotlight on the very best of Ireland’s beauty industry, celebrating the businesses and individuals whose passion, skill and commitment to excellence continue to shape the sector.
Held in the Parkview Hotel in Newtownmountkennedy, Co Wicklow, August 17, the prestigious ceremony brought together leading professionals from across the country and acknowledged those who have made a significant contribution to the hair, beauty and wellness landscape over the past year.
Local talent shines
Luminous Wellbeing Ireland (Tuam Rd ) was one of the evening’s outstanding successes, praised for its dedication to client wellbeing and professional service standards. The business received a highly coveted category win in recognition of its holistic approach and exceptional treatments.
Several Galway-based businesses were also specially recognised for 'Excellence' by the judging panel. Caoimhe’s Brow Boutique received special mention for its artisan approach to brow design and customer care, while 3B’s Barber Shop & Hair Salon was applauded for its creativity, high levels of customer satisfaction and consistent quality. Fat Tony’s Middle Street Barber Shop received recognition for its modern approach to traditional barbering and loyal customer base, while Eva’s Beauty Room (Tuam Rd ) was also highlighted as a rising name in the Galway beauty industry.
In total, more than 35 awards were presented on the night, honouring hair salons, barbers, beauty clinics and wellness professionals from every corner of the country. A spokesperson for the Irish Nation’s Hair & Beauty Awards congratulated all winners and finalists, commenting that the awards exist “to shine a light on the wonderfully talented individuals and teams who are raising standards within the industry.”
For Galway’s winners and recognised businesses, the evening marked not only a celebration of their achievements but also a well-deserved acknowledgement of the hard work and creativity that continues to set them apart on a national stage.
