The seven-piece band, fronted by vocalist, Hattie Whitehead, was originally set-up as a once-off project to play Mitchell songs from her 1980 live album Shadows and Light.

Led by band leader Pete Oxley, on guitar, now Hejira regularly sell out jazz venues across London and farther afield. It is made up of Ollie Weston on sax, Chris Eldred on keyboards, Dave Jones on bass, Rick Finlay on drums, and percussionist Marc Cecil.

Hejira has attracted stellar reviews from the music press, and audiences can expect an evening enjoying great songs from 81-year-old Mitchell’s back catalogue.
