Stepping on Lego will bring a cinematic style of music to Galway

The project of Conor Waters, a multi-instrumentalist, composer, and producer originally from County Mayo, Stepping on Lego is a mix of electronic and acoustic elements that lean towards the cinematic, but remain rooted in a live, performance-based sound.

A classically trained pianist with a professional background in medicine, Waters brings his interest in music and sound design to his epic compositions, creating a soundtrack without a movie.

Some of the electronic-indie tracks include vocals, while others are instrumental, allowing the atmosphere and texture of the music to carry the emotion. Rather than aiming to tell a specific story, the intention is to create space for the audience to interpret the music in their own way.

Support on the night is from Galway-based indie band Groev, consisting of Joe Sweeney, Rory O’Regan, Evan Forde, and Jack Lennox.
