Tickets are now available for this year’s Galway Comedy Festival, which runs from Ocober 21 to October 27, including the first time Paul Smith comes west.

Festival organisers have revealed that Paul Smith will make his Galway debut on Thursday, October 23, with his show Pablo. The crowdwork master went viral on TikTok for his hilarious audience interactions which begin gently, but often descend into outrageous name-calling. The Liverpudlian sold out Dublin’s 3Arena twice last year.

Internationally acclaimed sensation, The Ladyboys Of Bangkok are set to dazzle Bank Holiday Weekend revellers on Sunday 26 and Monday 27 October. Backed by glitzy choreography, stunning couture, and the fiercest performances yet, their Glow Up Tour is set to be an explosion of song, dance, and outrageous fun. Expect iconic pop hits, laugh-out-loud comedy, and a larger-than-life cabaret spectacle starring a cast of Thailand’s most glamorous ladyboys – alongside some very special guest performers.

Firmly established as one of Britain’s biggest and best-loved comedy stars, Jack Dee has captured the imagination of audiences and critics alike with his dry humour and deadpan delivery over the last four decades. For one night only, Dee will be bringing his Small World Tour to Ireland’s largest comedy festival on Thursday, October 23.

For the opening night of #GCF25, on Tuesday, October 21, award-winning Montana native and Galway veteran Rich Hall will bring his one-man show to the Róisín Dubh. To kickstart their week of carefully curated craic, fans can expect finely crafted tirades, rapid-fire banter with the crowd and delightful musical sequences.

This year’s Festival will also feature the annual serving of audience favourite, Faulty Towers: The Dining Experience. Over a million people have now enjoyed this internationally acclaimed homage to the iconic sitcom. The trademark Torquay hospitality will be in Eyre Square's Hardiman Hotel on Thursday, October 23, and Salthill’s Galway Bay Hotel on Friday, October 24.

This newly revealed batch of acts join the previously announced witty Welshman Rhod Gilbert, Strictly Come Dancing champion Chris McCausland and homegrown hits Emma Doran and Al Porter who are all bringing their latest solo shows to Galway as part of #GCF25.

Tickets for these early announcements go on sale via www.galwaycomedyfestival.ie at 10am today, Thursday, June 26.

The full 2025 Galway Comedy Festival programme will be revealed in September. It is set to feature over 70 Irish and international artists performing in 70 shows across Galway city and county over seven days and nights, culminating in the October Bank Holiday weekend.
