Fresh from releasing her debut album 11:11 in February, the international artist crafts songs that speak candidly to the realities of youth culture.
She has lived in Ireland, Spain, Britain, and Los Angeles, and these experiences have informed her eclectic style, which spans lo-fi pop, rap, and club-ready tracks.
Biig Piig first emerged in 2016 with the release of ‘Vice City’ on SoundCloud.
A 2017 live recording of the track amassed over 9 million views on YouTube, and it marked the beginning of a career that would attract attention from music industry heavyweights.
Her sound has resonated widely, earning her more than 200 million streams and co-signs from the likes of Billie Eilish, Virgil Abloh, Lil Nas X, and Clairo.
She’s supported major acts including Glass Animals and Jungle, while also continuing to work closely with the experimental NiNE8 Collective, of which she is a founding member.
Following a string of EPs beginning with Big Fan of the Sesh, Vol. 1 in 2018, and the critically praised 2023 mixtape Bubblegum, Biig Piig’s debut full-length album arrived in February 2025.
With her international success, she maintains a strong connection to her Irish roots, and this is a unique opportunity to see her perform in Galway as part of the Galway International Arts Festival.
