The Tuam artist’s summer 2024 release, ‘Over Galway Town’ was a massive online hit, surpassing 3.7 million streams, including 2.5 million on Spotify.
Critics have likened the young musician’s sound to Lewis Capaldi and James Arthur.
After gigs in Paris supporting Gavin James, and working with Imelda May in Dublin, McIntyre also played Electric Picnic last year.
McIntyre’s recent EP Chapter 23 amassed over 250,000 streams in its first week of release, with songs ‘West is Home’ and ‘Gra’ quickly becoming fan favourites.
He will return to Galway to play the Róisín Dubh on October 2.
