International Women's Day lunch for Self Help Africa in The Kings Head

Self Help Africa will host a lunch in The Kings Head Bistro on Friday, March 7 to support the charity's work with women and families in 16 countries in Africa and the Global South. This luncheon will begin at 12:30pm to 2:30pm.

In East Africa, 36 million people are affected by drought and conflict and are facing starvation and loss of livelihoods.

The International Women's Day lunch for Self Help Africa will be an opportunity to have fun, raise awareness and fundraise to support women and families living in some of the poorest communities in Africa. Self Help Africa works with these communities – provide women and families with the ability to produce more food, earn more from their farming activities and help mothers and fathers to provide a better life for their children.

Tickets are €45 for a special three course meal and wine/beverages with all proceeds going to Self Help Africa. If you would like to buy a ticket for this event contact Ronan Scully at [email protected].
