Tommy Tiernan added to this weekend’s Pearse Stadium concerts

Extra tickets now on sale and capacity for the four concerts raised to 1,200

TOMMY TIERNAN has been added to Friday’s comedy concert at Pearse Stadium, with capacity for the four Salthill concerts now raised from 500 to 1,200.

Tommy Tiernan will join Ardal O’Hanlon and Deirdre O’Kane for a triple header of Irish comedy giants, all hosted by the finest MC in Ireland, and a brilliant comedian in his own right, Karl Spain.

The four Pearse Stadium concerts - Christy Moore (Thursday August 26 ), Tiernan/O’Hanlon/O’Kane (Friday 27 ), Mary Coughlan (Saturday 28 ), and The Stunning (Sunday 29 ) - are now live entertainment pilot event, on behalf of the Department of Tourism, Culture, Arts, Gaeltacht, Sports and Media, and designated by the Department of Health under Public Health Regulations.

As such, capacity for each show has now increased to 1,200, with tickets sold in pods of four. This also means that there are now extra tickets to other previously sold-out shows in Pearse Stadium.

The concerts are being presented by the Róisín Dubh and the Galway Comedy Festival, and will follow Covid-19 guidelines. Gates are at 7pm. Show starts at 8pm sharp. Click and collect bar service in operation. Tickets are on sale via www.roisindubh.net
