Castlebar Chamber of Commerce and Gnó Mhaigh Eo are encouraging the businesses of Castlebar to issue a huge céad míle fáilte to the cast and crew of Riverdance when they descend on the town next month. More than 20,000 people will attend the highly acclaimed show when it opens in the Royal Theatre on September 3 and continues until September 9.

The National Youth Council of Ireland is very concerned by the latest report from the Mental Health Commission stating that 200 young people under 18 were admitted to adult mental health hospitals in 2007 while 113 young people have been admitted to adult units in the first half of 2008.
