Free entertainment in Ballyhaunis this Christmas

Ballyhaunis is the place to be this Christmas as Ballyhaunis Chamber in conjunction with a number of traders is running a festival over three weeks leading up to Christmas. Every weekend, on Saturday and Sunday, there will be a number of stalls in the Square to create a Christmas market - with all your favourite items. This Saturday’s highlight is a fancy dress disco for all the children. It will take place in The Hazel from 4pm to 6pm on Saturday December 3. It is a free event and all children from the area attending primary school are welcome to dress up and come in to have a good time. While the children disco and party, you can shop or enjoy a treat at your favourite venue. There will be loads to do, so have fun. Sunday’s big event is for all adults, with a free tea dance with live music in The Parochial Hall from 1pm to 3pm. So if you are at a loose end and want to sing along - if you are coming out from 12 o'clock Mass and want to meet the neighbours, or if you are into dancing and want to stretch the legs for a couple of hours - come along, it is free.
