Tony Óg Regan has been around long enough to know a team is only as good as its last game and the only result that matters is the next one. For Galway that means defeating Waterford in next Sunday’s All-Ireland quarter final at Semple Stadium and reaching the All-Ireland semi-finals for the first time since 2005.

The Galway minor footballers, under the management of Tommie Joyce, will face Roscommon this Sunday (12 noon) in Hyde Park in the Connacht final.
The Galway lads have produced two solid displays which resulted in large victories against Sligo and Leitrim to reach the final, while Roscommon had an impressive win over Mayo to get to this juncture.

The Galway senior camogie team will be given a good indication of their current form when they take on Kilkenny in round six of the All-Ireland championship on Saturday in Duggan Park (4pm).
The Cats had a hard-fought 2-15 to 2-08 win last Saturday over Clare at Nowlan Park and they join Galway, Wexford and Cork on eight points from five games.
