Connacht captain John Muldoon, the only current player to have enjoyed success over Saturday's European Challenge Cup opponents Grenoble, says Connacht have never been in a better place to grab success.
"It's great to be involved in a knock-out competition. When you get here, it's a one-off game, a one-off opportunity, and with the carrot of a semi-final dangling inf font of us, we are really looking forward to it.

Galway Women’s FC crashed to a second 3-0 defeat in four days when UCD Waves visited Eamonn Deacy Park on Saturday night.
For long periods of the game the home side matched the visiting side which was sprinkled with senior internationals. However the clinical ability of the visitors in front of goal was the difference between both sides.

Safety Direct failed in their quest for All Ireland honours when they went down by 0-20 to 0-12 to a strong Suir Engineering team in the All Ireland junior hurling final in the O’Loughlin’s GAA grounds in Kilkenny on Saturday.
It was a brave challenge from Safety Direct in the first season in interfirms hurling. Overcoming a slow start, Safety built up a five-point lead, but Suir finished the half the stronger and pulled away in the final 10 minutes.

The Galway senior footballers came back from a seemingly impossible position at the Athletic Grounds on Sunday afternoon to salvage what could be very important league point when recording a 1-15 to 1-15 draw with Kieran McGeeney's Armagh.
Claregalway's Danny Cummins was the player who scored the all-important goal in the seventh minute of injury time after Galway had trailed by 1-15 to 0-10 after 58 minutes.
