After a solid league campaign for the county footballers, attention now turns to club action which continues this weekend.
Three rounds of leagues one to four have been played, with the competition to be completed in June before any championship football begins. Clubs will be without their senior intercounty players and also their U20 county players while they prepare for a Connacht final and maybe more.

It is not the first time the Italian side has prevailed in Treviso - two years ago they forced Connacht's exit from the Rainbow Cup, winning 20-12, but last weekend's performance was all the more comprehensive, controlled and complete as they dominated the proceedings at a fast and furious pace, and Connacht struggled with both the heat and Italian physicality.
