More than €4 million worth of sales at John Quinn & Co

John Quinn & Co is reporting an extremely busy spring period with an excellent volume of sales having taken place of properties in and around the city, which included a four bedroom detached property at Gleann Na Coille on the Barna Road, a beautiful four bedroom bungalow in Furbo, a substantial detached property at Maunsells Park, and a beautiful three bedroom residence in Sceilg Ard on the Headford Road. A two bedroom property at Curralee on the Headford Road was snapped up within a few days of it being on the market, and the same applied to a beautiful three bedroom residence at Lurgan Park. Also a four bedroom semidetached residence at Sli Na Sruthan, Clybaun Road, was sold within a few days of being on the market. A three bedroom semidetached residence at Ocean Wave was disposed of, as was a three bedroom semidetached residence at Grattan Park and a four bed semidetached residence at Tara Grove, a property at Claremont Park, and two more in Ocean Wave, Salthill, with sales also in Knocknacarra at Linn Bhui all snapped up relatively swiftly. In total just over €4 million worth of residential sales have taken place in a few short weeks.

In a crowded conference room at the Menlo Park Hotel last Friday, Spencer auctioneers held its May land auction with seven lots of land in the Oughterard area coming under the hammer.

Last Friday saw DNG Maxwell Heaslip & Leonard bring nine lots to the floor in the first of its summer auctions. In a packed auction room in the Imperial Hotel in Eyre Square, there was standing room only for many who attended to watch the afternoon’s proceedings. As is usual with the city centre based agents, there was an eclectic mix of properties, with something to suit all buyers from across the spectrum.
