SÉAMUS CONNEELY
Accrington Stanley Séamus Conneely has enjoyed a hugely productive footballing career. Connemara's Conneely made his Galway United debut in 2008 and has subsequently had spells with Sheffield United, Sligo Rovers, and Accrington.
BRENDAN O'CONNOR
Former Corrib Rangers and Galway United player Brendan O'Connor is now forging a successful coaching career. O'Connor currently manages Galway United's U19 team and is also in charge of Maree/Oranmore's outfit in the Western Hygiene Supplies Premier Division.
DENNIS LYDON
Dennis Lydon has been an influential player in the local game for the past couple of decades. Now with West United, Lydon previously played for East United and Galway Hibernians.

Enda Curran remains a passionate follower of junior football in the west. The former Galway United striker talks about the recent return of local football.
