The firm’s Galway branch will be situated in the level one office suites of Liosban Business Park and the company is enjoying this commercial growth despite the hindering presence of the recession.
Ms Rodgers expressed her delight when speaking about the move into a bigger space and being able to hire locally. “There is real growth in the US market and a great opportunity for Irish companies, especially in the technology, medical devices, medical IT and environment sectors. Galway City Council has agreed to give what councillor Frank Fahy described as “a measly €200,000” towards turning a hotel in Doughiska into a community centre.
At Monday’s city council meeting, councillors agreed in principle to provide funding to Doughiska Residents’ Association to help purchase a hotel building in the area.
