West Ireland Cycling, Salerno students, and a number of volunteers have been out in force generously offering all kinds of wonderful services, including tasty smoothies, in the hope of raising up to €5,000 for Galway-based charity the Sunflowers Chernobyl Appeal.
As part of Ireland’s National Bike Week, taking place between June 13 and 20, staff at West Ireland Cycling have teamed up with students from Salerno Secondary school to hold the fundraising event in Eyre Square which is offering bicycle hire and maintenance, as well as smoothies with a difference. Bike enthuasiasts and smoothie lovers are encouraged to attend the event which will be held until this Sunday with every penny going towards this deserving charity.
