A story appeared in the Philippino media and blogs this week, saying that the Philippino Ambassador to Ireland Ariel Y Abadilla had approached the Galway City Council with a view towards the twinning arrangement.

New motorway signs for Oranmore to be erected

New signage on the M6 Dublin to Galway road, indicating the turn off to Oranmore, as well as signs for B&Bs, shopping, services, and tourist activities in the area are to be erected.

The signs will be located before junction 19 on the M6. The signs are currently being designed and will be erected in the coming weeks.
