Our Lady’s Children’s Hospital Crumlin, will take centre stage at Clayton Hotel Galway when the second fundraising Masquerade Ball for the cause takes place. This sparkling gala event which is being jointly organised by Maldron Hotel Oranmore, Maldron Hotel Sandy Road and Clayton Hotel Galway will take place on Saturday, November 4.
The evening will include a drinks reception, a four course gala dinner followed by entertainment with Oddity Band and DJ.

Dear Editor,
Next May or June the people of Ireland will be asked to vote on the contentious topic of abortion in the first of seven different referenda proposed over the next two years. This without a doubt will be the most important one and its result will have far reaching repercussions for Ireland into the future. Essentially its result will say a lot about this country and what we value. It is basically a referendum on human rights.

Minister for Finance and Public Expenditure and Reform Paschal Donohoe presented the second Budget of the Minority Government Fine Gael-Independent Coalition. Minister Donohoe announced that the total Budget package of €1.2bn favours expenditure increases over revenue reductions reflecting the Government’s commitment to invest in key areas such as education, health, childcare and housing.
