Galway artist Ruth Cadden will be among the 10 artists exhibiting in a special group exhibition which takes place this weekend in Co Kerry.

Ten Artists takes place at the Temperance Hall in Kinsale this Saturday and Sunday from 11am to 6pm. Ruth is also hosting her own solo exhibition in the Town Hall Theatre. Entitled Seductive Mythology, it will be officially opened on Friday December 3 by Galway Advertiser chairperson Ronnie O’Gorman. All are welcome. Seductive Mythology will run throughout December.

Figures suggest that 90 per cent of all licensed drivers speed at some point in their driving careers (there are no such fines for slow drivers who also cause traffic chaos), while 75 per cent admit a regular speeding offence. And like many life experiences, unless a person has been affected by an accident as a result of speeding, it is human nature to ignore, disbelieve, and say "it won't happen to me".
