NUI Galway graduate Professor Chun Chang Huang, has been honoured with the prestigious ‘Excellent Scientist of China’ Award in China. Chun Chang Huang is a Professor at the Shaanxi Normal University, Xi’an, China.

Establishing a youth café in Westside has received a major boost as the Galway City Council has sourced €40,000 for the development of cafés in RAPID areas of the city.
The funding will be rolled out by the Youth Officer of the VEC in conjunction with the RAPID committee of the council.
