Galway Auction Rooms to host live internet auction

Galway Auction Rooms will host an auction with a difference on Sunday next. The annual Spring sale of antiques, fine art and interiors will be broadcast live to the world via the Internet.
As well as the traditional auction in the Auction Rooms in Kilcolgan, people will be able to bid on the various lots via the internet from any location in the world. The Live Auction concept has been used by auctioneer Aidan Foley in The Auction Rooms in Sixmilebridge, Co Clare with great success.

Eileen McMahon, a UK based solicitor came to East Clare in June 2008 to take a short sabbatical to write her book on psychological trauma. She had always worked on trauma cases during her 20 years career in personal injury litigation.
Her path has been interesting and although she always knew that she was an intuitive person her ability to see, feel and hear expanded when on Irish soil. She worked with Des Glynn of Grealish Glynn in Gort to draw plans for a Celtic roundhouse healing centre but then the recession came. She set up instead Claddagh Heart Beauty Salon and Complementary health centre in August 2009.
