Maggie May's bar and restaurant is owned and ran by Justin and Veronica Comer. Justin is head chef and has been involved in the food business for 20 years. He has an excellent knowledge of local food and suppliers.Their aim at Maggie Mays is always to provide excellent quality food at an affordable price. Thankfully theyhave received great support from the local community but unfortunately were hindered by a lack of space so they decided to expand their business.

Man hit by car later found in bar

A major search was launched in Clonboo on Tuesday night when a pedestrian was struck by a car on the Curragh Line.

The driver, who struck the man at around 9pm, called emergency services immediately after the accident. The motorist could not find the pedestrian after the incident, and gardaí and the coast guard searched for the man for two hours as fears for his safety escalated.
