Custody for hammer attack man accused of terrorising shop staff

A man accused of assaulting and terrorising staff at tattoo shops while armed with a hammer and a knife has been remanded in custody again after the bailsperson expressed concerns that bail conditions would not be adhered to.

Luke McMahon (38) with an address given as 36 William Street, Galway, appeared before Judge Aeneus McCarthy at the holiday sitting of Galway District Court last Tuesday.

Jail for man who pursued and stabbed housemate
