Shantalla residents’ senior residents’ lunch

The Shantalla Residents’ Association will hold its annual lunch for senior residents in the Clybaun Hotel this Sunday from 2pm to 6pm, with a mulled wine reception at 1.15pm.

A free bus service will be provided by Lally Coaches to take residents to the hotel, departing from the Shantalla Community Centre at 1pm sharp, with a return bus at 6pm. There will be music and dancing from 4pm to 6pm.

Local businessman and former Fianna Fáil mayor of Galway Micheál Ó hUiginn has lodged a planning application to the Galway City Council on behalf of Tesco to build a two-storey complex on the site of his former lumberyard. Dramatastic was established by Ciara Doyle (B Ed primary teaching, ALCM, LLCM, FLCM musical theatre, MA music education) to make the performing arts accessible to children in Galway and give children the opportunity to develop confidence, make friends, and nurture their own talents in a safe and comfortable environment. With a maximum entry of 15 pupils per class, each child is guaranteed expert tuition.
