Galway cheerleaders steal the show

Galway City Cougars Cheerleading Club claimed 20 trophies from the 21CC International Cheerleading and Dance Championships held in Galway recently.

Competing against teams from all over Europe, Cougars played the home advantage well and took first place in five divisions, including the Grand Champions for their senior Level 3 team, which means they had the highest overall score from the weekend. Their senior level 1 team came in second place in their division, while the senior level 2 team were third with only .5 points in the difference.
