Man charged with possession of replica firearm and knuckle duster with intent

A Dublin man has been charged with allegedly being in possession of a bag, which contained a replica/imitation firearm, knuckle duster, and a balaclava, with intent to cause injury at a Galway city location last summer.

The Galway District Court heard on Monday how David Hickey (35) with an address at 1D Pearse House, Dublin 2, faces two counts of possessing an article with intent to cause injury at Mervue on July 11, 2010.
