The results of the 2011 International Engine of the Year Awards have just been announced. The global jury, consisting of motoring journalists, voted Fiat’s innovative and diminutive 875cc two-cylinder TwinAir the greatest automotive engine available today. Padraic Deane represents Ireland on this global jury.

In addition to this offer, all customers will receive one year's free road tax. With the Government scrappage scheme due to end on June 30, it is also consumers' last chance to own a Toyota from €7,995.

The Road Safety Authority (RSA) is warning motorists that using a mobile phone while driving is one of the most dangerous things they can do in a car.
There is strong evidence that mobile phone use by drivers, either hand held or hands free, is a major contributory factor in increasing distraction that can lead to an increased risk of collisions.
