The Dublin Metropolitan Region traffic division recently seized 18 cars as part of an ongoing investigation into the under declaring of cubic capacity of the car engine in order to pay a lower motor tax rate.
One male was arrested and charged with fraud and theft offences and appeared in Court on March 10 and has been remanded on continuing bail to appear on April 21 at the same court.
