Burkeway Homes launches fifth and final phase at Maoilín

Burkeway Homes has launched to the market the final phase of 21 homes at the hugely successful development of Maoilín on the Ballymoneen Road, Knocknacarra. The 21 homes will comprise a mix of three bed terraced, three and four bed semidetached, and four bed detached homes and will be offered for sale from the showhouse on March 25.

The first phases, which comprised 73 homes, are well on the way to completion with approximately 30 homes already occupied by their new owners. The homes are all built to a very high standard of finish, build quality, and are designed to provide easily maintained, spacious, light filled, homes. All the homes will be BER A-rated which makes for low running costs and all homes provide very comfortable, pleasant, living environments for families.

Maoilín was developed by Michael Burke and Burkeway Homes, a well-regarded local development company which has a strong record of accomplishment in Galway city over the past 20 years. Speaking about Maoilin, Michael Burke commented: “We are delighted with the interest in this development from potential purchasers and indeed the very positive feedback from the purchasers of the first 30 homes, who find the homes very comfortable. With solar panels, high level thermal insulation, heat recovery systems, and high efficiency gas boilers, the cost of running these homes is very low. As developers, we strive to provide a quality home for our clients and want them to have many happy and comfortable years in a Burkeway home.”

Once again demand for the remaining 21 homes has proved exceptionally strong with the agents reporting many enquiries. The location, house styles, quality of build, and efficiency of the homes is proving very attractive to buyers. The introduction by central Government of the Help to Buy Scheme for first time buyers makes access to buying a first home easier and more affordable. Burkeway Homes is a fully registered and qualified contractor under this incentive.

The last phase will be launched to the market on March 25 from 2pm to 4pm at the showhouse on site. There will be a mix of three bed terraced, three and four bed semidetached, and four bed detached homes on offer. The development benefits from having a large central green area, children’s playground, and landscaped walkways.

The agents are encouraging any interested parties to register their interest or go to the show house on March 25. First time buyers are encouraged to register with Revenue to qualify for the Help to Buy Scheme as this could be a saving up to €20,000.
