GPA Solutions is delivering its successful QQI level 5 and 6 payroll and bookkeeping awards this spring.
The QuickBooks course will run for five days over five weeks, commencing February 10 in Galway. Learners will experience setting up a company, entering source documents in the various day books, and preparing debtors and creditors balances and reports. Learners will learn to produce VAT reports, bank reconciliation, and monthly profit and loss and balance sheet reports.
The Payroll Level 6 award is ideal for learners who wish to further develop their existing payroll skills by focusing on areas such as tax implications when calculating pensions, BIKs, illness and maternity benefit, and cycle to work scheme in both a manual and computerised context. The course will also explore aspects of relevant employment law, various Revenue reports, and filing with ROS and year end procedures. This course will run two evenings a week over five weeks, commencing February 27 in Galway.
Both courses are delivered through lectures, case studies, and assignments. Online support is available for all learners.
