One of Galway's great football festivals, the annual Salthill Devon National 5 A Sides, will kick off this year in Salthill Park on May 30 and 31.
Celebrating its 39th year, the long-established Salthill Fives tournament shows no signs of losing its popularity with teams from Ireland and overseas contesting the weekend event.
In addition to the usual competition at all levels, including the mens over 35s for former legends, there also will be a women's competition on Sunday.
An added appeal for families is an independent soccer street skills event which will be held for younger players.
