Mayor of Galway City, Councillor Dónal Lyons, will tomorrow (Friday ) perform the official opening of the building extension of St. John the Apostle, Knocknacarra National School.
Mayor Lyons will attend at the school at 11:15 am for opening.
St. John the Apostle, Knocknacarra NS recently completed an extension with new learning support rooms which greatly add to the teaching facilities at the school.
Fr Tadgh Quinn, PP, will bless the extension and celebrate Mass at the school at 10:30 am following by the official opening at 11:15 am.
