Art exhibition in UHG

CONSTRUCTING NARRATIVE, a new exhibition of drawings by Eleanor Brennan is running in the UHG Arts Corridor until Thursday March 12.

Brennan creates drawings mainly of trees, roots, children, animals, and birds, often set in dreamlike landscapes. “I am drawn to work which is unfinished in appearance and feel,” she says. “This mirrors the transitory nature of feelings and thoughts and references an unfixed sense of self.”

Having a background in art psychotherapy, Brennan is fascinated by the human psyche and how images provide a way of connecting to the self, containing and communicating thoughts, feelings, and ideas.
