Born does the double at JCI Friendly Business Awards

On Thursday August 15 last, Born Clothing was presented with two prestigious awards at the second annual Friendly Business Awards 2013. The awards took place in AIB Lynch’s Castle Galway and were hosted by the Junior Chamber International (JCI ) Galway.

Out of more than 40 entrants, Born Clothing was crowned the winner of not one but two distinguished awards for best disability access and best premises layout and design. Emma Regan and Liz Neylon from Born Clothing were delighted to accept the two awards which were presented to them by the president of the JCI Galway, Olivia Hayes.

The winners were selected and judged based on a wide range of criteria from customer care, social media interaction, as well as several secret shopper visits.

The multi-award winning fashion store has been fortunate enough to have received several awards since its establishment in 2009. Earlier this year Born Clothing was presented with another esteemed award by the Best of Galway Awards 2013 winning the category for Best of Galway fashion outlet 2013.

Born Clothing has expanded rapidly since its establishment in 2009 and now has 10 stores nationwide. The five Galway stores are Newtownsmith, the Galway Shopping Centre, Tuam Shopping Centre, Born Menswear Tuam, and Born Footwear Eglinton Street.
