Dress up for the the music drive in aid of Barnardos

Supermac’s will host a Halloween party with a difference at its Headford Road restaurant tomorrow.

The restaurant will be alive with ghouls and goblins and faces which only appear once a year as part of Dress Up for Barnardos, led by 2fm’s More Music Drive with Will Leahy.

With the outside broadcast taking place from 4.30pm to 7pm, customers and children are encouraged to dress up in their Halloween finest to be in with a chance of winning a number of spot prizes. To help children get into the spirit of the occasion, face painting will to help them realise their Halloween ideas.

This is the second year of the RTÉ 2fm Dress Up for Barnardos where people country wide are encouraged to don fancy dress for the day and get sponsored or make a donation to raise funds for Barnardos.

Managing director of Supermac’s, Pat McDonagh, saysL “Supermac’s is delighted to support a charity such as Barnardos which does so much valuable work. An enjoyable evening is planned and we hope to see many families join in the fun. As sponsor of The More Music Drive it’s great to be bringing the show to Galway so fans of the show can meet presenter Will Leahy and have their requests played.

“Life for children and families on the margins has not become any easier over the last 12 months and these funds are needed now more than ever.”
