Catherina Blewitt has been appointed as west regional manager for IDA Ireland, the agency responsible for promoting foreign direct investment into Ireland.
Ms Blewitt will be responsible for leading the IDA’s development agenda in Galway and Mayo. She has more than five years’ experience within the global investment environment with IDA Ireland and previously worked in the property, west regional development, and corporate communications divisions in the agency.
The Mayo-native is a graduate of NUI Galway and also holds a master’s in regional and urban planning and development from UCD.
Prior to working with IDA Ireland, Catherina Blewitt was employed as a planning consultant by Galway County Council.
