Christmas cheer rising in Dunsandle Castle

With half of November behind us the elves from Dunsandle Castle have been buzzing around preparing for the Santa’s Castle event taking place in Kiltullagh this December.

Santa’s Castle is a magical opportunity for the whole family to get together for an evening of Christmas cheer. The 90- minute event starts with a torchlight procession, led by woodland elves, through the woods of this enchanting castle. Next there are sweet treats, stories, and song in Mrs Claus’s kitchen before ascending the 15th century medieval staircase into Santa’s great hall. Each child receives an educational gift and a personalised visit with Santa Claus himself. The tour culminates with a trip to Santa’s workshop, where children are able to create their own Christmas cards and decorations with the help of the crafty workshop elves.

Admission to this wonderful family event is €27 per child and €11 per adult, while entrance for babies is free. Santa’s Castle supports the local community by donating a portion of each admission to Galway Simon Community. This is a booking only event and reservations can be made online at www.santascastle.ie or by calling Santa’s Castle on (091 ) 503865, Monday to Friday, 9am to 5pm.
