Future is bright for Lighthouse Networks

Galway-based company Lighthouse Networks has just announced the expansion and enhancement of its wireless broadband service in several rural areas of County Galway and County Clare. These include areas around Barna, Headford and Moycullen which have “line of sight” to Tonabrucky. Other areas which now enjoy enhanced coverage include Kinvara, Gort and Loughrea in County Galway, as well as Lahinch, Miltown Malbay and Spanish Point in County Clare.

The company is also pleased to announce its recent relocation to modern new offices in the East Point Business Park, which is conveniently located with easy parking on the outskirts of Loughrea. According to the managing director of Lighthouse Networks, Enda Broderick, the move to the new offices is part of the company’s commitment to maintaining a strong local presence in the community that it serves, with all administration staff and customer service, including telephone-based technical support team, now located at the new offices.

“We regularly hear from our customers that they love the fact that they can talk to someone locally when they need help.

“The technical support and assistance they get from many other telecommunications companies, with support staff generally based abroad in so-called low cost economies, simply doesn’t work and in many cases leads to frustration and time wasting.”

Lighthouse Networks was founded early in 2006 with the goal of providing high quality, affordable and reliable broadband internet services across regions of the West of Ireland that could not get access to broadband at that time. The company has experienced rapid growth and is now one of the largest fixed wireless broadband internet service providers in County Galway and County Clare, supplying home and business customers in many rural areas across these Counties.

Lighthouse Networks also has the widest coverage of any fixed wireless internet service provider throughout this region. The company currently provides high quality broadband services in areas such as the Aran Islands, large parts of the Connemara Gealtacht / Cois Fharraige area, and nearby coastal communities and towns, from Renvyle to Indreabhán and also across many rural areas of East Galway and North and West Clare.
