• Galway United Supporters Trust will be holding a general knowledge table quiz on next Thursday, April 7, in Crowes Bar, Bohermore, Galway (9pm ).
Entry fee is €40 per table of four. The table quiz will be preceded by an open meeting for all Galway United supporters (8pm ).
The March "Maroon Army" draw will be held at half time at Friday evening’s premier division match against Sligo Rovers at Terryland Park (K0 7.45pm ).
Application forms for "Maroon Army" are available from the club office 091-767336. Season tickets remain on sale from the club office, and from O'Briens Newsagents, William Street, Galway; Claddagh and Celtic Jewellers, Quay Street, Galway; The Square Inn, Athenry; and O'Briens Hardware, Main Street, Loughrea. Adult and concession season tickets cost €99, with secondary school tickets on sale at €59.
All supporters of Galway United and Sligo Rovers are invited to the Goalpost Bar, Woodquay, after Friday’s match. The Goalpost is the after-match pub sponsor of Galway United for the coming season.
